Help with offline voice translation.
Include your device model, iOS version, Jibberly version and a short description of the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive recordings or personal voice profiles.
Getting started
Choose the input and output languages, hold the talk button, speak, then release. Use the flip button when the other person speaks. The pencil lets you correct recognized text; Play Translation replays the result.
Why does the first launch take time?
Jibberly prepares several gigabytes of bundled language models locally. Keep the app open and allow enough free storage. The app does not need to download additional translation models.
How can I reduce the delay?
Choose Fast in Settings and adjust when speech begins. Processing time depends on your device, recognition model and phrase length. Normal and Accurate require more processing.
Why is there text but no voice?
Thai, Urdu and Tamil currently provide translated text only. Lithuanian, Romanian and Vietnamese support preset voices but not personal voice output. For other languages, check the device volume and connected Bluetooth audio output.
How do I remove my voice profile?
Open the voice screen and use its delete-profile option. The profile is stored on your device.
How do I restore my full-version purchase?
Open the upgrade screen in Settings and choose Restore Purchase while signed in to the Apple account used for the purchase. Restoration requires internet access. The full version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
What does the demo include?
You can record for up to one minute per turn, repeat demo turns, and use Fast or Normal recognition. The full version removes the demo recording limit and unlocks Latch and Accurate.
